All of JCA’s albums are true gems with so much honesty and heartfelt emotion. He is a lyricist who puts all his cards on the table in his songs. There is such a tender delicate atmosphere he creates with his instrumentation it begs the listener to really listen to the words in the songs. Listening occasionally to the first three tracks brings me powerfully back to 2021, a very vulnerable period, which feels a long time ago.
